Moldovan President Nicolae Timofti conveyed a message to the citizens of the country in view of the parliamentary elections on 30 November
„It is important that we all understand one simple, but fundamental thing: our, our children and grandchildren's future depends on that the way we vote on 30 November. Now our fate is being decided. Throughout Moldova’s history we had 3 opportunities to make the decisive step towards Europe, an land of freedom, prosperity and security”.
President Nicolae Timofti conveyed a message on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Moldova’s Constitution adoption
„I note with satisfaction that in our country, constitutional democracy has proved viability. Presently, there is a national consensus on supremacy of the constitution, which demonstrates the maturity of political establishment, as well as evolution of civic consciousness”.
Moldovan president conveys condolences to Turkish counterpart
„It is with great sadness we learned of the tragic accident in the coal mine in the province of Manisa, in the wake of which more human lives were lost. We are by your side and the entire Turkish people in these difficult moments. On behalf of the Moldovan people and on my own behalf, I ask you, Your Excellency, to convey our sincere condolences and deep compassion and solidarity to the mourning families.”
