Presidency of the Republic of Moldova
President Nicolae Timofti today conveyed a message of sympathy to President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan on a terroristic attack which occurred in Ankara on 17 February.
The message says:
„Your Excellency,
I was quite saddened to learn about the explosion which took place in Ankara on 17 February 2016, in the wake of which numerous people died and were wounded.
In these difficult moments, I my own behalf and on behalf of Moldova’s people, I want to address the sincerest condolences to you, the mourning families, as well as to the entire Turkish nation. Also, I wish the injured quick recovery.
While firmly condemning the terrorism acts, I express our full solidarity with the Turkish people in fighting the terror actions, which we can combat only by joint efforts.
Please, Your Excellency, accept the assurances of my highest consideration.
