President Maia Sandu held talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Monday evening. The two Heads of State discussed the security situation in the region and the management of the large number of refugees who arrived in Moldova. President Maia Sandu stressed that Moldova needs urgent international support.
Maia Sandu thanked the Ankara authorities for the humanitarian aid sent to our country on 1 March.
The two leaders also discussed the bilateral agenda, namely the cooperation in the energy and trade-economic fields.
