The Head of State met with the Director of the UNDP Regional Bureau

The President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu met with the Director of the UNDP Regional Bureau Mirjana Špoljarić Egger who is visiting Chisinau. During the discussion, topics related to bilateral cooperation were discussed, in particular, overcoming the economic crisis and implementing local development projects.

The head of state said that the government team is continuing the process of reforms aimed at bringing our country closer to the standards of the European Union. The UNDP official assured that the United Nations will continue to support Moldova both to mitigate the socio-economic consequences of the war in Ukraine and to transform the country and improve the lives of its citizens.
