The Head of State spoke with the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola

The President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu had a telephone conversation with the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola during which they discussed the latest security developments in the region. Officials also discussed the efforts of the Moldovan authorities while protecting and providing assistance to the refugees from Ukraine. In this context, the Head of State mentioned that the Republic of Moldova relies on the immediate assistance of the European Union in managing the flow of people crossing our border.
