The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, met with Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo on the second day of her visit to Brussels. The discussion focused on the relations between Moldova and Belgium, security developments in the region and the European agenda of our country.
The Head of State thanked Alexander De Croo for his recent solidarity visit to Moldova and for the help offered in the context of the war in Ukraine. She also appreciated the intensification of the Moldovan-Belgian bilateral dialogue, which benefits the citizens of both countries. "The Republic of Moldova wants to advance on the path of European integration and, for this to become a reality, it needs the support of EU Member States. Our diplomatic efforts are directed towards cultivating and strengthening these relations," President Maia Sandu said.
