President of the Republic of Moldova had a meeting with a delegate of the German Bundestag

President of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Dodon, had a working meeting with Jürgen Hardt, Member of the German Bundestag, spokesman of the CDU/CSU Group and foreign policy expert, who is on a working visit in our country.

The officials discussed topics related to the Moldovan-German relations, stressing out the importance of boosting and developing of the bilateral political dialogue.

The Head of State expressed his recognition for the German financial support, given via diverse bilateral projects. The President as well expressed his interest in strengthening the trade and economic relations and intensifying the trade with Germany.

Also, Igor Dodon sincerely thanked Germany for rapid recognition of the new Parliamentary majority and Government, as well as for supporting the effort that the new legitimate leadership put into stabilizing situation in the country.

President mentioned as well that during the last 30 days Republic of Moldova had gone through an extremely difficult period, passing through challenges and risks. The Head of State highlighted the fact that we could provide a sustainable development of the Republic of Moldova only with our external partners’ support, with internal national consensus, promotion of balanced foreign policy as well as with efficient collaboration in-between the Parliament, the Government, and the President.
