Moldovan president signs decrees on conferring honorary title

President Nicolae Timofti today signed decrees conferring the honorary title, People’s Artist, to Stela Popescu and Tamara Buciuceanu-Botez, theatre and film actresses from Romania, born in Bessarabia.

The state distinctions were conferred on them as appreciation for special merits in promoting the theatre and film art, remarkable achievements and significant contribution to developing cultural relations between Romania and Moldova.
