President Nicolae Timofti today signed a decree on nominating Iurie Leanca as candidate for the office of prime minister.
According to the Constitution, Iurie Leanca has a delay of 15 days in order to request the parliament’s confidence vote for the programme and full list of the government.
During the consultations held by Timofti and parliamentary factions, the Liberal Democratic Party proposed Iurie Leanca as candidate for the post of prime minister.
