Presidency of the Republic of Moldova
President Nicolae Timofti today awarded Order of Honor to Polish Minister for Administration and Digitalization, co-head and co-founder of Parliamentary Assembly Moldova-Poland Andrzej Halicki, the presidential press service has reported.
The distinction was given "as token of deep gratitude for significant contribution to development of friendship and cooperation relations between Moldova and Poland and for assistance provided in development of society's democratization process".
"Poland is a strong supporter of Moldova, and our bilateral ties are permanently strengthening. The people of Moldova is grateful to you for the friendship you have shown and support of our European integration", Timofti said.
In the context, Halicki said that "Moldova's support by Poland is a pleasure and a duty, as we everybody want to live in a united Europe."
