President Nicolae Timofti today signed a decree on awarding the Emeritus person honorary title to His Eminence Vladimir (Nicolae Cantarean), Metropolitan of Chisinau and All Moldova.
The president awarded the honorary title to His Eminence Vladimir, Metropolitan of Chisinau and All Moldova, "as a sign of high appreciation of the outstanding merits in his work of moral and spiritual revival of society, for his contribution to the promotion of Christian Orthodox values and restoration of places of worship ".
