President Nicolae Timofti today sent a message of condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin, in connection with the terrorist attacks in the city of Volgograd, resulting in dozens of innocent victims.
The message says:

Please, accept my deep condolences on the terrorist attacks that occurred in the city of Volgograd on 29 and 30 December, in the wake of which dozens of innocent people lost their lives.
Moldova firmly condemns all the manifestations of terrorism. This tragedy has caused immense pain in the hearts of the Moldovan citizens, who express their solidarity with you and the entire Russian people.
Please, convey our deepest condolences to the relatives and close people of those who lost their lives following this terrible tragedy, and those who have suffered from explosions – our best wishes for a speedy recovery.
