Presidency of the Republic of Moldova
President Nicolae Timofti conveyed a congratulatory message on Easter holidays.
The message reads as follows:
„Dear fellow countrymen,
On the occasion of the Easter Holidays, I address you my warmest wishes of health, peace and happiness.
In spring, we celebrate the life and joy of renewal. The miracle of revival means a new beginning. One of the most important Christian holidays - Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ - comes for the Orthodox Christians.
The miracle of Resurrection represents the symbol of forgiveness, penance and ascension of souls to light, which inspires us faith, hope and love.
The Easter holidays’ significance is to be confirmed daily by each of us through gestures of compassion, charity and solidarity with the fellow people. Let’s experience together the joy of giving, forgiving and stepping confidently in the future.
