President Nicolae Timofti today signed a decree on awarding the order “Credinta Patriei” (Order of Allegiance to Motherland) of the third degree to the officers of the National Anticorruption Centre who investigated corruption-related files at the Leuseni-Albita Customs Office, as well as in the justice sector, the presidential press service has reported.
The distinction was offered to captain Marin Megherea, lieutenant-colonel Gheorghe Scoropat and lieutenant-colonel Iurie Stoian for “irreproachable performing the duty, merits in the work to prevent and combat corruption and contribution to the protection of human rights and freedoms”.
