Presidency of the Republic of Moldova
President of the Republic of Moldova, Nicolae Timofti, received today, 15 July current year, the letters of accreditation of Kiev-based Turkmen Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Moldova Nurberdy Amanmuradov.
The head of state wished Nurberdy Amanmuradov success in his diplomatic mission, voicing hope that the Moldovan-Turkmen ties will deepen during this period.
Nicolae Timofti and Nurberdy Amanmuradov agreed that the Moldovan and Turkmen authorities start discussions on a string of joint economic projects, including those in the energy sector.
President Timofti noted that these debates will be continued within a forthcoming visit to Moldova of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, due on 24-25 July current year.
