The President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu received today at an official ceremony the letters of accreditation of four new Ambassadors to our country: H.E. Tomasz Kobzdej, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland; H.E. Pavol Ivan, Ambassador of the Slovak Republic; H.E. Levan Diasamidze, Ambassador of Georgia and H.E. Almat Aidarbekov, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The officials discussed recent security developments in the region and their impact on the Republic of Moldova, as well as the efforts of neighbouring countries to help refugees from Ukraine. During the discussions, the Head of State expressed her interest in strengthening bilateral relations and capitalising on the existing potential, especially in the economic and energy fields.
