Presidency of the Republic of Moldova
The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, had a meeting today with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, who came to Chisinau to participate in the European Political Community Summit.
In the discussions with her counterpart, the head of state emphasized that: "In the last year, the Republic of Moldova has intensified cooperation with Azerbaijan in the energy, agricultural and economic sectors. One of our priorities is strengthening energy security. We count on a strategic partnership with Azerbaijan in the energy sector, in particular, on the import of natural gas at an affordable price".
