Moldovan President Maia Sandu met on Thursday with the French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Ives Le Drian and the European Commissioner for Crisis Management Janez Lenarcic, who were on a working visit in Chisinau.
Officials discussed recent security developments in Moldova and the region, as well as coordinated actions by Chisinau authorities in managing the flow of refugees from the neighboring country. President Sandu appreciated the support of France and the support of the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron. The Head of State also thanked for the humanitarian aid provided by France, noting that it contributes to the authorities' efforts to help refugees in Ukraine.
