President of Moldova received credentials from five Ambassadors
During the official ceremony at the State Residence, the Head of State, Igor Dodon, received credentials from five appointed ambassadors: H.E. Sardar Mohammad Rahman Ogly, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan with residence in Kiev; H.E. Ahmar Azeth, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia with residence in Bucharest; H.E. Sören Jensen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark with residence in Bucharest; H.E. Lino Bianco, Ambassador of the Republic of Malta with residence in Malta; H.E. Jusupbek Sharipov, Ambassador of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan with residence in Kiev.
The Head of State held a meeting with the Prime Minister Pavel Filip and Ion Chicu, incumbent for the Minister of Finance. After discussions, Igor Dodon signed a decree appointing Mr. Ion Chicu to this position. 
Igor Dodon took part in an informal meeting of the leaders of the CIS countries, where the results of the organization's activities in 2018 were summed up and prospects for cooperation in the coming year were considered.
The President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon spoke at the expanded format meeting of the Eurasian Economic Supreme Council in St. Petersburg, where the Republic of Moldova participated for the first time as observer. 
President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon held a working meeting with the governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov. 
The President of the Republic of Moldova Igor Dodon held a working meeting with the head of the permanent delegation of the European Union in the Republic of Moldova Peter Michalko.
