According to the article No 25 (1),(a), of the law on status of judge, the following judges were released from duties, under the submitted application: Mihail Buruian – judge at the Chisinau Court of Appeal, Tudor Culava – judge at the Straseni Court, Ludmila Curca – judge at the Cimislia Court, Andrei Neguriţa – judge at the Stefan Voda Court, Gheorghe Ursan – judge at the Telenesti Court.

Timofti said that Moldova praised the privileged ties held with the United State of America and European Union at present, which would contribute to consolidating the democratic institutions and building up a prosperous and stable society in Moldova.

President Nicolae Timofti met U.S. Senators John McCain, John Hoeven, John Barrasso and Ron Johnson, on a visit to Moldova, at the state residence today.
President Nicolae Timofti today sent the members of the European Council, presidents and prime ministers a letter expressing Moldova’s intense wish to sign the Association Agreement, including the one on Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) between Moldova and the European Union by late May.
The French MPs voiced confidence that Moldova had European vocation, and declared for boosting the cooperation between the two states on all dimensions.
Timofti welcomed the three officials’ visit to Chisinau and highlighted that the example of these three eastern states, which chose a future in the European Union, served as model to be followed by Moldova. Timofti said that, despite de complicated situation in the region, the Moldovan authorities had political will to sign the Association Agreement with EU.
