President Nicolae Timofti today received the accreditation letters from German Ambassador Ulrike Maria Knotz and Lithuanian Ambassador Rimantas Latakas.
This draft is part of the last set of 11 laws, promulgated by the president, for which the government has decided to take responsibility before the parliament.
Timofti said that reforming the judicial system aimed at eradicating corruption. He noted that presently, the magistrates benefited from best conditions for carrying out duties, which obliged them to do their job honestly.
Makino noted that his country would implement new projects on modernisation in the health care, agri-food and energy sectors. At the same time, the programme on providing credits for small and middle enterprises will be continued.
“During my mandate, I will take actions necessary to identify a pragmatic solution to settle Transnistrian conflict, by observing the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country and providing a special status to the region from the left bank of Dniester”, he said.
“The example of our Olympic champions Nicolae Juravschi and Tudor Casapu proves us that the effort and rigour are always rewarded by results. I wish you to get outstanding performances in your activity, so that the flag should be hoisted as often as possible, and the national anthem should sound at stadiums around the world,” Timofti said.
