During the meeting with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation Farit Mukhametshin, the Head of State conveyed his congratulations on the confident victory of Vladimir Putin in the presidential elections in Russia.
"The Russian Federation is the guarantor of peace in various parts of the world, and Moldova has been and remains a reliable partner of Russia in all areas of cooperation: economic, political and social, regardless of the actions of some politicians in Chisinau. I assured that Russia is still a strategic partner of our country," Igor Dodon said.
In addition, the parties discussed the current situation in our country, as well as details of the visit to Chisinau by Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Grigory Karasin.
