During the working visit to the city of Soroca, the head of state participated in the inauguration of a sports complex that is part of the national program of rehabilitation of sports infrastructure.
The sports complex includes: football, basketball, volleyball, fitness facilities, playgrounds and is located in the "Soroca Noua" region of the city.
Igor Dodon expressed his hope that this sporting field will become an attraction for all the city's inhabitants. At the same time, the President reiterated that practicing sport offers multiple benefits for health but also the opportunity to socialize. "For these reasons, I will continue to make the country's citizens able to practice sports," the head of state said.
We remind you that in the autumn of last year the President of the Republic of Moldova launched a national project for the construction of 300 sports complexes in the localities in the country, predominantly in rural areas. Dozens of complexes are put into operation, are in the process of designing or building. The program is under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Moldova in the framework of the "Iubesc Moldova" National Campaign and in partnership with the First Lady Foundation "Din Suflet".
