President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu met today with the Ambassador of the United States of America in Chisinau, Kent Logsdon. The discussion focused on the bilateral agenda and the current challenges faced by our country.
The interlocutors talked about the unprecedented energy crisis which is a direct consequence of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. President Maia Sandu thanked the American partners for their support in strengthening our public institutions and carrying out reforms in key sectors, in particular - the reform of justice sector and the fight against corruption. This support contributes to our country's resilience to current threats.
