Presidency of the Republic of Moldova
The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, met today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in our country, residing in Kyiv, Kim Hyung-tae. During the discussion, the head of state mentioned that we want closer bilateral cooperation and trade relations and appreciated the lasting partnership between our countries.
As this year we proposed to return to economic growth, we are interested in attracting investment from South Korea to our country, especially in Free Economic Zones, in the renewable energy sector, in the development of IT parks, in the health sector, but also in the modernization of agriculture. At the same time, the President emphasized the importance of continuing the dialogue regarding the liberalization of the visa regime for our citizens who wish to go to the Republic of Korea.
