Presidency of the Republic of Moldova
President Maia Sandu held a meeting with the Embassy of the Republic of Estonia in the Republic of Moldova, based in Bucharest, E.S. Ingrid Kressel Vinciguerra. During the discussions, the President expressed her appreciation for the excellent relations between our countries and the consistent political support that Estonia offers on our path to join the European Union.
Estonia is an important partner for the modernization of the country, offering development assistance to the Republic of Moldova as a priority. Over the years, our country has taken over from Estonian good practices of digitizing public services. At the same time, Estonia's experience in the field of digital transformation and the use of artificial intelligence can serve as a good example for the Republic of Moldova, as well as in ensuring cyber security and countering hybrid threats.
Finally, the President thanked Ambassador Ingrid Kressel Vinciguerra for her service in strengthening bilateral relations and wished her much success in the future.
