The head of state discussed Moldovan-European relations with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis

Moldovan President Maia Sandu discussed Moldovan-Greek relations with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in Davos. "We plan to intensify cooperation in several areas, especially in the energy sector, given the increasing role of Greece in supplying Europe with liquefied natural gas," said Maia Sandu.

Together with Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the leader from Chisinau praised the very good relations in the social field, strengthened by the Agreement on Social Security which entered into force this year on 1 January. The Head of State also asked for the support of the Greek partners in speeding up negotiations for our accession to the European Union.
