Presidency of the Republic of Moldova
The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, welcomed today in Chisinau Luminița-Teodora Odobescu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, on her first visit since taking office. "I congratulated Minister Odobescu on the occasion of her new position and thanked her that the Republic of Moldova continues to be a priority for Romania", declared the head of state.
The president emphasized that the EU accession process, the reforms we are making, but also the bilateral agenda were discussed during the meeting. "Romania was and remains a strong supporter of the Republic of Moldova. We will continue working together to promote prosperity, stability and common values for the benefit of the citizens on both banks of the Prut River", mentioned President Maia Sandu.
