The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, met on Wednesday with ES Graham Paul, Ambassador of the French Republic in our country. The agenda of the talks focused on bilateral cooperation and current challenges faced by the Republic of Moldova.
In this context, the Head of State expressed her appreciation to France and President Macron for the continued support to the Republic of Moldova in the process of European integration and for the considerable help provided during the last year and a half in several areas.
President Maia Sandu noted that the situation in the energy sector is becoming increasingly complicated and that the Republic of Moldova is counting on the support of external partners. The interlocutors discussed the organisation of the next meeting of the Moldova Support Platform, which will take place this month in Paris, as well as our country's priorities for this meeting.
