President Maia Sandu had a meeting with the Head of the Council of Europe Office in Chisinau, William Massolin

The Head of State met on Monday with William Massolin, who is ending his mission as head of the Council of Europe office in the Republic of Moldova. The President thanked Mr Massolin and his team for their constant support for democratic reforms in our country in the fields of justice, media and human rights.

The government will continue its efforts to reform the judiciary field and regain people's trust in this sector. A functional and independent judiciary is a precondition for the development of the economy and the consolidation of our state, and an essential condition in our European journey.
