Presidency of the Republic of Moldova
President Nicolae Timofti has conveyed a message of condolences to French President Francois Hollande, on account of the attacks in Paris.
The message says:
"Your Excellency,
I was deeply saddened to learn about the bloody attacks from Paris, in the wake of which numerous people died and were injured.
On this tragical period for the French nation and the entire civilization, let me express you, on behalf of Moldova's people and on my own behalf, the deepest thoughts of sympathy and solidarity, and sincere condolences to the mourning families.
We are by your side in vigorously condemning any acts of violence, as it is difficult to realise the dimension of the disaster caused by these terrorist acts, which must have an energetic and firm response on behalf of Europe."
