President Maia Sandu met during her visit to Tokyo with members of the Japanese Federation of Businessmen, Keidanren, an organization that brings together about 1500 companies and 150 associations and unions.
The Head of State thanked the Japanese business representatives for their interest in our country and expressed her appreciation for Japanese investments in Moldova. President Maia Sandu noted that there are 13 companies with Japanese capital in Moldova, which created more than 6000 thousand jobs and thus contribute to the economic development of our country. The Head of State alos mentioned that we have other sectors that need Japanese investments, such as IT, agriculture or renewable energy.
