President Maia Sandu met with Angela Sax, head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development office in Moldova
President Maia Sandu had a meeting with Angela Sax, head of the office of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Moldova (EBRD), at the end of her mandate. During the discussions, the President appreciated the contribution of Angela Sax in stimulating investments from the EBRD in our country and appreciated the support given by the bank in the implementation of projects in the field of infrastructure, supporting the private sector and promoting good practices to improve the investment climate.
President Maia Sandu welcomed today the Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia, H.E. Uldis Mikuts, who is ending his diplomatic mission in the Republic of Moldova. The head of state appreciated the good friendly relations between our countries and thanked the diplomat for the effort made in boosting bilateral cooperation. 
The head of state had a meeting today with a delegation from the State of Israel, led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Eli Cohen. The dialogue focused on the bilateral agenda, economic cooperation, and security developments in our region. 
The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, met with her Austrian counterpart during her visit to Salzburg. "I had a warm meeting with the President of Austria, Alexander Van der Bellen - a good friend of the Republic of Moldova. 
In Salzburg, the head of state met today with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer, whom she thanked for the support given to our country, including through the Austrian Development Agency. 
President Maia Sandu attended the Salzburg Summit 2023 in Austria, where she gave a speech on geopolitical changes in Europe and our region. She also spoke about how we can join efforts to strengthen the European community and the important role that Moldova plays in this regard.
