The president had signed decrees on the dismissal of Mr. Gheorghe Salaru from the chair of environment minister and appointment of Mrs. Valentina Tapis, earlier this morning.

President Nicolae Timofti has signed a decree on dismissing Valeriu Harmaniuc from the office of judge at the Balti-based Court of Appeal, according to his application.
„I hope that the good relations of friendship and cooperation between Moldova and Lithuania will be fostered, deepening in various fields of mutual interest. At the same time, I want to sincerely thank you for the political support and valuable assistance permanently provided to Moldova in view of achieving its priority objectives”.
President Nicolae Timofti has signed a decree on Mr. Elisei Secrieru’s dismissal from the office of judge of the Bender Court of Appeal, according to his application, under Article 25 paragraph (1), letter a) of the Law on the Status of Judges.
„While taking advantage of this nice occasion, I want to reiterate willingness for an intense joint activity, in order to extend and deep the traditional Moldovan-Ukrainian ties and, at the same time, to develop the full potential of the bilateral cooperation, for the benefit of our citizens and in the interest of peace and security in the region”.
