Timofti underlined the importance of implementing the Danish government-funded assistance programmes in the sector of environment protection, observance of human rights and consolidation of democratic institution in Moldova.
The sides discussed the reforms carried out within the Eastern Partnership programme, as well as about the ensuring of Moldova’s energy security, in the context of the tense regional situation.

Joseph Biden said that the US encouraged Moldova to go on with the European integration policy, which would bring stability in Moldova and create conditions for the economic growth.
